How to do it
- Stand facing a wall with the toes of one foot a hand's width back from it.
- Drive the knee forward over the toes to touch the wall, keeping the heel flat on the floor.
- If it touches, slide the foot back and go again; if it does not, move in a little.
- Measure the gap between toe and wall — that number is your ankle range, and the two sides usually differ. Note both in a check-in note and look again in a month. The number shown is the total for both feet — half on each.
