Single-Leg Calf Raise
- Equipment
- Bodyweight
- Pattern and target
- Legs
- Lower
- Calves
How to do it
- Stand on one foot with the ball of the foot on a step and the heel hanging free.
- Hold a wall or rail for balance only, not for support.
- Rise as high as you can onto the toes, pause, then lower until you feel the calf stretch.
- Finish the side before swapping. One leg carrying bodyweight is roughly what two legs plus a machine gives you.
