How to do it
- Lie on your side with the hips stacked, the bottom knee bent for a base and the top leg straight.
- Lift the top leg towards the ceiling, leading with the heel.
- Stop where the hip starts to roll backwards — the leg should stay in line with the body.
- Lower slowly and finish the side. Add an ankle weight or a band above the knees once the set stops being hard.
